Welcome to FirstLine Development.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of firstlinedev.com (the "Site"), which is operated by FirstLine Development ("FirstLine Development," "FirstLine," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site provides information about FirstLine Development and the website design, development, redesign, management, maintenance, and related services we may offer.
The Site may also allow prospective clients to:
- Review examples of our work
- Review general service options
- Review general pricing information
- Learn about our development process
- Submit project inquiries
- Contact FirstLine Development
Information provided on the Site is intended for general informational and marketing purposes.
2. Website Services and Client Agreements
Submitting an inquiry through the Site does not automatically create a client relationship, contract, partnership, or obligation for FirstLine Development to perform services.
A website project may be subject to a separate proposal, service agreement, statement of work, invoice, project scope, or other written agreement.
If a separate written agreement between FirstLine Development and a client conflicts with these Terms regarding a specific project, the separate written agreement will control with respect to that project.
FirstLine Development reserves the right to accept or decline any potential project.
3. Pricing and Service Information
The Site may display prices, packages, features, timelines, or other information relating to FirstLine Development services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a signed agreement:
- Website pricing displayed on the Site is general pricing information
- Pricing may change at any time
- Additional features or services may result in additional charges
- Third-party costs may not be included
- Project requirements may affect final pricing
- A displayed price does not create a binding obligation until the applicable project terms are accepted
Potential third-party expenses may include domain registration, premium software, paid plugins, third-party platforms, specialized hosting, business email services, licensing fees, subscription services, payment processors, booking platforms, or other services requested by the client.
Any applicable fees will be addressed as part of the project's proposal, agreement, or communication with the client.
4. Website Ownership and Project Deliverables
Ownership of websites, source files, designs, code, graphics, content, domains, hosting accounts, or other project deliverables is determined by the specific service option and written agreement applicable to the client project.
Statements on the Site regarding full ownership, managed website plans, transfers, or future updates describe FirstLine Development's general service structure.
Specific ownership rights for a project become effective according to the applicable written project terms, including any required payment obligations.
Third-party software, fonts, plugins, libraries, stock assets, platforms, APIs, or other third-party materials may remain subject to their respective licenses and are not transferred beyond the rights permitted by those licenses.

Nothing in this section limits warranties or obligations expressly provided in a separate written client agreement.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
20. No Waiver
Failure by FirstLine Development to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or another provision later.
